About Us

Crystal Beach Adventures was established in 2017 with a strong desire to lead from the heart and be able to share the magic of the horses, the healing energy of nature, and share with those drawn to the connections science can’t measure yet. Being open to exploring new adventures in our safe space will lead to more awareness and ability to adventure forward in your own life.

We started with an invitation to relocate to what was recently Alana’s grandparents’ farm which was formerly a popular resort until the 1950s and a healing space/hunting grounds for Indigenous people before that. At that time Alana was experienced with horses, multiple healing modalities, and had a desire to share possibilities. She was also a single mom with extremely limited funds. So when the opportunity became available to purchase the lake, she was up for the new adventure saying, “I can’t afford spaghetti, sure let’s buy the lake!” The focus has steadily been shifting from riding lessons to promoting wellness, connection with nature and self, experiencing possibilities, and a touch of intuition thrown in for good measure.

We have learned a lot about meeting people and our horses where they are at and continue to evolve our services.

Our Team

The current herd of horses consists of many generations of selectively bred Welsh Ponies, Welsh Cobs and sport ponies/horses, to several who chose to join us coming from challenging circumstances, a beautiful Donkey, several dogs and cats, a small group of cattle spend summers here. As well, many species of wildlife live here and occasionally join in the adventures. In partnership with them, Alana chooses to share the beauty in their world with others.

As we are also a breeding operation, we do have some of our beautiful herd for sale.
