Mickey

Mickey – 2009 grade bay gelding

Mickey takes his role as a protective uncle very seriously, the rest of the time he provides comic relief. However, I know very little about his past before he came here. He is affectionate, bold and very clever on the ground. Loves doing groundwork, obstacles and playing games. I am guessing that at some point something bad happened under saddle (I have been on him bareback and he “almost” relaxed but has a very strong panic button with the saddle. With his smaller stature and type (appears part Arab) I would prefer he goes to a home that includes EAL and realizes that he may not become a safe beginner mount.

Deja

Kelly Acres Deja Vu – 1996 Section A Welsh bay mare

Deja is a strong character, coming from a long line of strong mare I think her grandma has her last foal at age 33. If she were human, I picture her as the grandma that smokes cigars, drinks scotch, and tells inappropriate stories at family functions. She also gives the best hugs and actually listens.

Pirouette

Kelly Acres Pirouette – 2004 Section D Welsh bay mare

Pirouette gave me the gift of Avante, she is shy, gentle, and has a quiet strength about her.

Party

Kelly Acres Party Thyme – 2004 Section A Welsh grey mare

Party embodies would beauty and is a sister to Flyer. She shocked me this spring by walking up a nuzzling my feet while I was allowing some healing to happen. I think there is much more to come with her story!

Jitters

Kelly Acres Jitterbug Too – 1999 Section A Welsh grey mare

Jitters is very beautiful with a sweet gentle energy and the grandaughter of one of Dad’s favorite foundation mares.

Vixie

Kelly Acres Arctic Vixen – 2014 Section A chestnut mare

Vixie is Foxy’s last foal, and is very special. She has wild wisdom but likes to interact. I am hoping to breed her this year to continue the story.
